**EDIT: I forgot to mention that the Opera browser is working on their next build, 8.02, which is going to have Bittorrent built into the software. You just click on a torrent link, and Opera begins the download for you. Extremely simple, especially for folks who aren’t that computer savvy. You can try it out here. Currently, it does not work with private trackers (bittorrent sites that you have to sign up for), but seems to function with most public trackers. REMEMBER, this is a preview build, so do not do anything of importance with this browser (buy things, pay bills, write long blog posts (: ).

I don’t know if any of you are bothering to click my AudioScrobbler link, but you really should. Da Scrobbla is pretty nifty. The sign up doesn’t even require an email. You can listen to what everyone else is listening to. Just look at someone’s profile. If like what you see, you can listen to their playlists. You can also download a plugin for pretty much any media player and submit your own play lists. They can compare your list to everyone else’s to provide you with lists of similar taste.
My favorite feature is listening to member’s personal radio stations. Random tracks from their playlists broadcast at 128k! And you can skip tracks, ban artists you don’t like, and mark ones that you love. It’s a great way to sample new artists, and it’s fvckng free! Give it a shot; you won’t be disappointed.
